This MOVIE NIGHT we will be watching:

The House of Dies Drear

This 1984 film follows a young Black man and his family as they move into a home in rural Ohio that they discover was used by a Dutch immigrant to smuggle runaway slaves to freedom during the Civil War. Soon they begin to suspect that the ghosts of slaves who passed through there are haunting the house. Based on the 1968 children’s mystery novel by Virginia Hamilton.
