Black Art School is a bi-monthly education series taught by experienced Artists, Curators and other Arts Professionals on location in the gallery. Participants will have an opportunity to be introduced to various art-based subjects in both lecture & hands-on formats.

On June 13, 2026 we look forward to presenting the lecture:

Exploring the feminine in African-American Art

Join us for this broad survey on expression by, and the depiction of, the feminine in African-American Art.

From the celebration of the female form, to the critique of Black womens’ relationship with western society, we will examine a wide range of powerful perspectives, explored in a number of different media.
