Artist Bio

X.Darvi is a visual artist from Las Vegas, Nevada, whose work explores themes of identity, self-expression, and the beauty of Black culture. Drawing from a childhood passion for art, X.Darvi’s journey into painting began during her first year of community college, where she studied Fine Art and started working with oil paints. After discovering acrylics, she found her preferred medium, one that allowed for vibrant expression and fluidity.

Over time, X.Darvi has expanded her practice beyond traditional studio work, completing public art projects in collaboration with the City of Las Vegas. Notable works include the decoration of utility boxes and a mural located near the West Las Vegas Arts Center, pieces that speak to the artist’s commitment to making art accessible and community-focused.

Drawing inspiration from life, love, and the personal struggles of her own journey, X.Darvi’s art focuses on the power and beauty of Black women, as well as occasional portraits of Black men. Her distinctive style, which incorporates elements of cubism, bold color palettes, and energetic impressions made up of dots and lines, is a reflection of the invisible flow of energy in life. Through this, she brings to life an emotional and spiritual landscape that resonates deeply with viewers.

X.Darvi’s work continues to evolve, blending vibrant abstraction with personal storytelling, and establishing a unique visual language that celebrates life in all its complexity.
