Betye Saar Day is a dedicated community gathering celebrating the iconic life, visionary practice, and 100th birthday of legendary artist Betye Saar.

We will explore Saar’s revolutionary legacy in assemblage art, and will have materials on hand for you to create your own collage (small materials fee). Look forward to an inspiring space for creators, art lovers, and community members to explore this transformative artist and connect outside of the traditional gallery experience.

Whether you are a lifelong admirer of Saar's work or discovering her mystical storytelling for the first time, this is a space for inspiration, creative expression, and intentional exchange.

• Requirement: Open to creators, art enthusiasts, visionaries, and community members of all ages & skill levels
